The Area
The "Akrogiali" is located on the south coast of Samothraki island , in Lakkoma beach, which is quiet and clean.
In the region are three old oil-mills, samples of the local pre-industrial architecture (1900-1920), which were in service until 1985.
Between Kamariotissa and Lakkoma you can visit Xiropotamos, built along the homonymous stream, an area with olive trees, waterfall and springs.
Deserves to ascend to the little church " Panagia Krimniotissa ", perched at the edge of a cliff, whose name originated from the location the icon of Virni Mary was found.
The beach " Pahia Amos", the only one with sand the isle, is about 15 minutes far from "Akrogiali".
